Title I School-Wide School
Trailside Elementary School is excited to continue its work as a school-wide Title 1 program. Our highly qualified staff collaborates with students and their families to foster academic, social, and emotional growth. We strive to create a learning environment based on high expectations, developmental responsibility, engaging academics, and a positive community.
At Trailside, we offer a systematic approach to differentiated support in Language Arts and Math. Our team-based approach to teaching and learning involves collaboration among staff members, with teachers regularly reviewing academic and behavioral data to ensure student progress and success. As a result, all teachers are Title 1 teachers, and all students are Title 1 students, ensuring that every child receives the best instruction possible in a supportive learning environment.
We actively encourage parent involvement at Trailside and welcome parents to be a part of our school community. Parents are invited to volunteer in the school, join the Parent-Teacher Organization, and attend our family activity nights. Throughout the school year, parents will have opportunities to review student progress through progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, and various teacher communications. Additionally, parents are encouraged to provide feedback on our services each year, helping to shape the learning experience at Trailside Elementary School.
