Dear Trailside Families,
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you to Trailside Early Primary School!
I bring over 25 years of experience in elementary education and have proudly served the Waterford community as principal of Woodfield Elementary for the past four years. Through the realignment of WGSD schools, I am honored to begin this new chapter at Trailside, where we will build something special together this year.
My journey in education began with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, followed by a Master’s degree in Education from Aurora University. I also achieved National Board Teaching Certification in Early Childhood and completed my Leadership Certification at St. Mary’s University.
On a personal note, I live in East Troy with my husband, Chuck. We were both raised in Wisconsin and are loyal Wisconsin sports fans. We have three incredible adult children, Jack, Ben, and Hazel, who continue to make us proud.
At Trailside, I prioritize people and relationships above all. I believe that strong, trusting connections between school and home create the foundation for meaningful learning. We are truly grateful that you are sharing your child with us, and we value the partnership we’ll build together to support your child’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
Please know that my door is always open. I look forward to getting to know each of you and working hand-in-hand to create a nurturing, inspiring, and joyful environment for your child.
If you’re a prospective family interested in learning more about the exciting things happening at Trailside, I would love the opportunity to meet you and personally give you a tour of our beautiful school.
Looking forward to a great year ahead,
Jessica Grimm
